I was also very confused about hormones! High progesterone can delay your period and cause pregnancy symptoms, making you think you're pregnant when the test is negative. Did anyone else get super confused by this in early weeks?
Haha honestly, before getting pregnant I read so much about cervical mucus and what not. Now I'm sitting here with zero sleep and my baby crying, and let me tell you, I never saw any 'fertile' mucus back then! Don't stress, our bodies are weirder than we think.
My doctor wrote 'fetal parts palpable' in my late pregnancy charts. It just meant she could feel the baby's legs or back when she pressed my stomach. It is a very common routine check.
