Haha, with twins my belly was so huge that even moving felt like an Olympic task! Side-lying is definitely the easiest and most practical, otherwise you'll just end up out of breath.
Honestly, with my sleep-deprived brain, I feel like symptoms took at least 2 to 3 weeks to show up, around when my period was missed. Before that, any "symptom" was probably just my mind playing tricks on me because of gas!
