I totally understand how stressful it is to cancel plans or worry about this, I had so much anxiety in my first month too! But avoiding travel gave me huge peace of mind during those scary early weeks.
Yes, they are safe, but honestly, the smell of standard mosquito sprays makes me feel so nauseous! I'd rather eat my hot samosas indoors under a fan than deal with that strong smell.
Honestly, kale is great but don't force yourself to eat it if you don't like the taste. Indian spinach (palak) has similar benefits and is much easier to digest. If you do eat kale, make sure it is washed thoroughly and well-cooked.
After my IVF journey, I was so careful about every single detail, including my sleeping position. Sleeping on the left side really optimizes uterine blood flow, which is wonderful for the baby's growth. Sending you lots of love and peaceful sleep.
I can barely travel from my bed to the bathroom right now in my 3rd trimester! Looking back, the first month is when you feel super exhausted and nauseous anyway. Skip any heavy travel if you can, just rest up.
