I used to panic and Google every single tablet earlier, but I learned that only our doctor can give the right advice. Don't worry, just call your gynac and ask them if it's safe or if they can suggest an alternative. They will guide you perfectly!
My MIL said brown blood is just old blood clearing out, but I didn't want to ignore it. I called my gynac right away to be safe, and I suggest you also check with your doctor instead of relying on family advice.
I totally understand your worry if you are waiting to find out. A standard physical checkup might not show anything very early on. They would need a specific urine or blood test to confirm it, so please don't stress.
Please wait until your period is actually missed to test. Testing too early can sometimes detect chemical pregnancies which can be heartbreaking. Take care of yourself during this waiting period.
It is generally safe and doesn't affect the pregnancy. But with my PCOS background I was always a bit careful, so we just kept things gentle and hygienic. Ask your doc if you feel any discomfort.
