I was so anxious and wanted to do the scan at 5 weeks itself, but my doctor made me wait till the 8th week so we could clearly hear the heartbeat. Waiting was so hard and I kept googling everything! But trust me, waiting till 7-8 weeks is better so you don't get unnecessary panic from an inconclusive early scan.
