We are also planning to start trying for our second baby next month! Does it really take longer than the first time? I am so curious to hear other experiences.

I felt so confused when I saw a tiny pink spot on my tissue around my period date, and I thought my period had started. But it was just implantation bleeding and my test came positive two days later! It was such a beautiful, emotional moment for us.

I just delivered a few weeks ago, and honestly, the postpartum body is a whole new journey. You deal with lochia bleeding, breast engorgement, and a soft, jiggly belly. But looking at your baby makes you feel so proud of what your body achieved.

My mother-in-law always told me to be patient and wait at least a week after a missed period before doing any test. That advice is so true, because testing at 2 weeks from your period is too early as the hormone hCG hasn't built up. Trust your doctor's advice and wait for that missed cycle date for an accurate result.

Usually, they count it from the first day of your last period, even though it feels weird. I remember trying to figure this out while throwing up constantly in my first trimester. Just count the weeks from that date, it's the easiest way to track.
