My doctor clearly told me that skin tone is determined by melanin and genetics, not by what we eat. Drinking too much saffron can actually cause heat in the body, so don't overdo it. Just eat a balanced diet for the baby's growth.
I literally lived on cold apples and salted crackers in my first trimester, everything else made me puke. Don't force heavy meals, just eat whatever stays down, even if it's just plain rice. It’s a phase and it will pass.
