My fasting sugar came out to be 98 last week and I am so stressed. My doctor said we will monitor it for another week. Did anyone else's levels go down just with a walk after dinner?
Low BP just gave me a perfect excuse to eat more salted chips and lie down on the sofa all day! Jokes aside, staying hydrated is key, so keep a water bottle next to you. If you feel like you are spinning, just lie down with your legs elevated.
Having PCOS meant I already had a tendency to gain weight quickly, so I had to be very mindful. I didn't focus on losing weight, but rather on keeping my sugar levels stable by eating high-protein, low-carb meals. Just focus on nourishing your baby with healthy choices and let your doctor guide you based on your scans.
My parents always made me eat a few almonds and walnuts daily, which have natural minerals. It's better to get these things from natural foods unless your doctor has specifically given you a tablet.
You are doing a great job caring so much for your little one already! Selenium is usually present in our daily foods like nuts and eggs anyway. Don't worry, your doctor will suggest if you need any extra.
