I felt so anxious about eating any meat during my pregnancy because of infection risks. My doctor told me pork is fine as long as it's absolutely well-done and from a clean place. I still avoided it just to be stress-free, but it's okay if fully cooked.
Simple rule is to wait till your period is late by at least a week before testing. Doing it too early just gives confusing light lines and unnecessary tension. If the kit shows two lines after 7 days, take a deep breath and book a doctor appointment.
Oh god, at 4 weeks I was constantly checking my tissue every time I went to the washroom! It's when implantation happens, so mild spotting can occur, which freaked me out. Just try to breathe, it's mostly just your body adjusting.
Oh, I had a terrible toothache just last month before my delivery! I did warm saltwater gargles 3-4 times a day which gave temporary relief, and my dentist put a safe temporary filling. Please don't take any painkiller without asking your gynac first.
During my early weeks at my parents' place, I kept everything very low-key and rested a lot. It is safe to do, but if you feel any discomfort or if you are not feeling up to it, just take a break and rest.
