It's totally normal and due to increased melanin from hormones, just like the line on the belly. Don't worry about trying to scrub it off, just moisturize it gently with coconut oil like I did.
In our home, my mother-in-law kept telling me to eat organic pomegranates (anar) and apples every day for good health. But I also checked with my doctor first, and she said any seasonal fruit is perfectly fine, just avoid raw papaya and pineapple. Apples are really great for digestion!
