FL stands for Femur Length, which is the length of the baby's thigh bone in the ultrasound. It is completely normal to wonder about these terms, but if any reading looks off to you, always ask your gynac to explain.
Water retention or mild edema is very common, especially in the third trimester. Make sure you take short walks to keep the blood circulation going and wear loose, comfortable shoes. But do mention it to your gynac in your next checkup so they can check your BP.
When I reached 37 weeks, my doctor told me I was full term and could deliver anytime safely. I delivered at 38 weeks and baby was perfectly healthy. It is a very reassuring milestone.
Honestly, during my first trimester, I could only digest dry biscuits and coconut water in the morning. Later, I switched to milk and a handful of soaked almonds, which kept me feeling good.
It's best not to guess with early home tests as they can give false negatives. I would suggest waiting a bit and calling your gynac for a blood test if you're anxious. They can guide you safely.
