You can test, but if you ovulated a bit late, it might show negative even if you are pregnant. I tested on day 28 and got a negative, but a week later it was a clear positive! So don't lose heart if it's negative today.
Waiting can be so hard, especially if you are already feeling nauseous or delayed. It generally takes about 2 weeks after intercourse for the home test to show a correct result. If you feel very sick, please do consult your doctor for advice.
