I am still pregnant and my EDD on the ultrasound is different from my last period date by a week. Is this normal, or should I be worried? My doctor said USG date is more accurate in early months.
Honestly, I didn't feel any cramping or spotting at all. Some people talk about implantation symptoms, but for me, it was just like any normal month until I missed my period.
My tummy is so big right now, it looks like a striped watermelon! I just use whatever body butter or olive oil is nearby to keep the skin from stretching painfully. Honestly, at this point, I am too tired to care about how they look as long as the itching stops!
I felt my first mild contraction exactly on my due date, starting as a dull ache in my lower back. It was such an emotional day because I knew I was finally going to meet my baby. Just listen to your body, you will know when it's time.
Just add 9 months and 7 days to the first day of your last period. Or simply let the ultrasound scan do the work at your 12-week appointment. Keep it simple and don't overcalculate.
