My hospital's care team explained that mild cramping is normal as the uterus grows, but we should always report it. I made sure to call the hospital helpline and confirm with my doctor because I wanted to be 100% sure. Definitely call your clinic if the pain becomes severe or if there's any spotting.
Mere ghar pe toh my mother-in-law kept telling me to rest because the body is changing. I used to feel sleepy even after sleeping for 9 hours! It is very common in the beginning, so don't worry.
I totally get how scary this decision feels, I used to panic about every small movement during my first trimester. If traveling is making you anxious, it's completely okay to postpone it for your peace of mind. Your mental comfort is just as important.
I am in my second trimester now, but I still remember how nervous I was for my first scan at 8 weeks. Did anyone else here get their first scan earlier, like at 5 or 6 weeks? Did you manage to hear the heartbeat that early?
Oh god, I spent nights crying and googling symptoms of ectopic pregnancy because of mild cramps. Save yourself the stress and just go get a scan done by your doctor, it's the only way to be 100% sure!
