Sorry typo, i meant should i use a home pregnancy kit or just go straight to a blood test. My period is 5 days late and im not sure which one is more reliable at this point. What did you all do first?

Sounds like you want to know if you're pregnant. Get a kit from the chemist, test with first morning urine after a missed period. Two lines means positive. If line is faint, test again in 2 days.
