My allergies are acting up so much this season, eyes and nose constantly running. Im 4 months along and scared to take anything on my own. Will check with my gynac but wanted to hear ur experiences first.
There are safer and not-so-safe options in this category, so it really depends on what u need it for. I always ran any medicine past my gynac during both trimesters. Doctor advice is genuinely the best call here.
My doc said some antihistamines are considered ok in pregnancy but only the ones she specifically allowed, and timing matters too. Please dont pick one off the chemist shelf yourself. Just call your gynac and tell them your symptoms, they will tell u the right one.
I'm always extra careful with meds so I never took anything without asking first. I wouldnt want to guess on this one honestly. Best to confirm with your own doctor since every pregnancy is different.
