I have major cravings for something salty and crunchy these days and banana chips are my weakness right now. Not sure if the oil and salt is a problem in pregnancy. Can i snack on them or better to avoid?
Oh I loved munching banana chips, haha, that salty crunch is addictive. I kept it to a little bowl once in a while so I didnt overdo the oil. Totally fine as a sometimes treat.
We make these at home in Kerala and a small handful now and then is okay. They are fried though, so just keep it light. My amma always said treat such things as occasional, not everyday food.
As an occasional snack they are fine, but they are fried and salty so dont make them a daily habit. I craved crunchy stuff too and just had a small portion sometimes. Balance it with fresh fruit and proper meals.
