With this heat i keep adding sabja seeds in my nimbu pani to stay cool. Now im second guessing whether its fine to have daily in pregnancy. Anyone else having basil seeds these days?
Beta, sabja seeds soaked in water are nice and cooling for the body, we used them in summer. A small amount in milk or sharbat is fine. But do check with your doctor first, dont take too much at once.
Basil seeds in small quantities are usually considered okay and they help with hydration and digestion. But some say to be a bit cautious with large amounts, so I kept it moderate. Honestly just run it by your gynac to be safe.
I loved sabja in my falooda and nimbu pani during the hot months. Felt so refreshing and helped with my acidity a bit. Just a spoon or so, not handfuls, and I was totally fine.
