My sister sent me a couple of Boots tests from the UK and i want to use one before going for the blood test. Just not sure how reliable they are compared to the indian ones. Has anyone tried them?
Yaar honestly any branded kit is fine, Boots, Prega News, whatever. Actually the mistake most of us make is testing day before period. Wait for the missed period then it shows properly.
Most strip and digital tests including Boots ones are around 99% accurate if u test after a missed period. My doc said the timing matters more than the brand, too early and even a good test shows false negative. So test with first morning urine for best result.
I used a Boots one when I was abroad and it showed positive correctly, later confirmed by blood test. Did u test too early maybe? Sometimes waiting 2-3 more days gives a clearer line.
