Suddenly craving corn nuts so badly this week, second trimester cravings are something else yaar. But not sure if these packaged ones are fine to munch on. Anyone had them during pregnancy?
Haan na, eating them is fine but don't eat too much. Too much packed or salty food is not good for swelling, ho na. Better to roast some fresh sweet corn at home sometimes.
Haha yes, they are totally fine to munch on! Just make sure you have strong teeth because those things can be rock hard, and you definitely don't want a dental visit right now!
I totally get why you are double-checking every small food item, I used to do the same! Corn nuts are generally safe to eat in moderation, but just watch out for the high salt content so it doesn't cause bloating.
I had terrible cravings for crunchy things during my pregnancy and ate corn nuts occasionally. They are safe, just try to drink lots of water after having them because they can be quite dry and salty.
Eat happily but keep it in moderation. God has given us so many nutritious foods, so just focus on fresh options first. Corn nuts are fine for a small craving, just don't have too much of the heavily salted ones.
