Saw dried cranberries at the store and felt like having them but stopped myself coz not sure if its ok now. Im in my second trimester. Do u all eat them or better to avoid?
From what I read they're considered safe and even good for UTIs. But food amounts only, not cranberry supplements unless your doctor suggests. Variety of fruits is always best.
Yeah cranberries are fine in normal amounts, lots of vitamin C. Just watch the packaged cranberry juice, those have crazy sugar. Fresh or unsweetened is better.
I had GD so I had to be careful with cranberry juice, it spiked my sugar fast. The fruit itself is fine in small portions, just go easy on the sweetened juices. Check with your doc if you have sugar issues.
