MIL adds jeera in almost everything at ghar, and I love jeera water in the morning. But now im 2nd trimester and just wanted to be sure its fine to have daily na. Anyone here had it through their pregnancy?
Completely safe if it's just your regular cooking tadka. No need to panic or cut out basic Indian spices. But yes, if you are planning to take concentrated supplements or huge quantities, actually ask your doctor first.
Yes dear, eating them in normal food is totally fine. Even after my C-section, my mother gave me light warm jeera water to help with gas and it felt so soothing. Just keep the quantity normal like we do in regular ghar ka khana.
Omg yes, normal amount is totally fine. Honestly, jeera water is the only thing keeping my crazy acidity in check right now, though walking to the kitchen to boil it feels like a trek. Just dont gulp down cups of it daily, keep it mild yaar.
I used to have jeera water daily during my PCOS days, but when I got pregnant, I became a bit cautious. Small amounts in tadka or food is absolutely safe. Better not to take heavy concentrated home remedies without asking your doc first, safer that way.
My mother-in-law always tells me to add jeera and pepper in rasam to help with digestion during these months. It really helps with bloating, but I always checked with my gynac before starting any daily drink routine. Moderation is key, ma.
Arre definitely safe in daily cooking, no need to overthink this. We have been eating jeera in every dal and subzi for generations na. Just don't go drinking glassfuls of raw extracts and you are perfectly fine.
