My mom keeps telling me to eat 2-3 khajoor every morning, says it gives strength and helps in delivery. Im in my 5th month and honestly I love them but I dont want to overdo it. Anyone here who ate dates regularly, did it actually help?
Beta in our time we always gave dates to pregnant girls, soaked in milk overnight. Very good for strength and khoon. But if your sugar is on higher side then ask your doctor how many to take.
My amma always said dates help in last months for normal delivery. Doctor also told me they are fine in moderation. I used to eat a couple in the evening with my tea, felt nice.
Dates are healthy but I have to add a caution. I had GD so I had to limit them coz they spike sugar fast. If your sugar is normal then 2-3 is fine, otherwise check with gynac first.
I keep dates as my snack instead of biscuits, much better. They give quick energy before my evening walk. Just dont eat the whole packet in one go yaar, they are calorie dense.
