I enjoy having dry figs as a snack. Are dry figs a good food option to include in my diet while I am pregnant, and do they offer any particular benefits?
Actually I am in my 2nd trimester right now and starting eating soaked anjeer since last week because of bad constipation. Did anyone else get instant relief from this or is it just me? I still feel a bit scared before eating anything new though, hope it is totally safe.
Yes dear! Dry figs or anjeer are super healthy and full of iron and fiber 🌸. I used to soak two anjeer in water overnight and have them first thing in the morning, worked like magic for digestion. Stay happy and keep glowing! 😊
Oh absolutely, they are a lifesaver! With my twins, the constipation was double the nightmare and soaking 2-3 figs overnight saved me from so much misery. Just don't eat too many unless you want to spend your entire day in the loo!
Anjeer is really good for constipation but please don't overeat them as they can cause heat in the body. I used to wash them 5 times and soak them overnight because I was so scared of any infection or stomach upset. Just have one or two soaked ones daily, that is very safe!
Anjeer is a very pure and natural dry fruit, full of strength for the baby. Eat it with a happy heart and don't take any stress, everything will be perfect. Just soak them in clean water before eating to keep it light on the stomach.
Figs are great for iron, but please keep an eye on your thyroid levels and overall blood tests too. I had thyroid issues during my pregnancy, so I made sure to get regular blood work done every month while taking these home remedies. Always check with your gynac on what quantity is best for you.
