My MIL gave me her evion capsules and said it's good for skin and baby. But im not sure if i should take anything extra without asking. anyone took these in pregnancy? confused thoda.
Actually, Evion is basically Vitamin E. My doctor told me that while it can help with leg cramps, taking too much fat-soluble Vitamin E during pregnancy can accumulate in the body and be unsafe. She said only take it if a doctor specifically prescribes it.
Honestly, for a healthy pregnancy and normal delivery, you usually just need standard iron, calcium, and folic acid prescribed by your gynac. I only took what my doctor gave me and never needed Evion. Just stick to your doctor's list and eat well!
Please don't pop any random pills without your doctor's approval! My sleep-deprived brain can barely remember if I took my own calcium today, but I definitely know that taking random Vitamin E is not recommended. Just let your gynac handle your pill menu, okay?
I am in my 2nd trimester now and my doctor hasn't prescribed Evion to me. Did your gynac suggest it to you, or were you just reading about it online? I get so anxious about taking the wrong supplement, did anyone else also feel scared of every tablet?
Oh, please don't start Evion tablets on your own! I had terrible morning sickness and couldn't even digest water, and my doctor warned me that self-medicating with any vitamins can make stomach irritation worse. Please let your gynac write your daily list.
I totally understand how we want to do everything perfectly for the little angel inside us and get confused about supplements. But sweetie, please don't take Evion without asking your doctor first. Only your doctor knows what is safest for you and your baby.
