Getting these dull sir dard almost daily since i found out im pregnant, im about 6 weeks. Never used to get headaches before so its bothering me. Is this common in early days? anyone else?
Yes, headaches are very common early on because of hormonal surges and dehydration. I used to apply a wet cold cloth on my forehead and drink plenty of coconut water ghar pe. But if you have very severe, continuous headaches or blurred vision, please contact your gynac immediately.
I used to get these horrible headaches and would sit and worry if my blood pressure was shooting up. It turned out to be just hormonal, but please do keep a small BP monitor at home to ease your anxiety. Stay hydrated, eat small meals, and try not to overthink it like I did.
I totally understand how draining it is to deal with a throbbing head when you are already feeling so nauseous and weak, my sweet heart. It's usually just your body adjusting to all the new hormones. Please lie down in a dark, quiet room and rest, I hope you feel better soon.
I panicked so much when I got severe headaches in my 8th week, thinking something was terribly wrong! But my doctor reassured me it's completely normal due to the sudden increase in blood volume. Once I started drinking 3 liters of water daily, they went away.
