Im around 9 weeks and getting these dull headaches almost daily, mostly evening time. Never had this before pregnancy so thoda tension ho raha hai. Is this normal ya should i mention to my gynac?
Oh god, I just delivered 2 months ago and I had terrible headaches in my first trimester. For me, it was mostly due to lack of sleep and dehydration. I just drank lots of water and slept in a dark room.
My gynac told me that tension headaches are very common due to hormonal changes and increased blood volume. She specifically warned me not to take any random painkiller without asking her first. She suggested light massage and proper rest instead.
According to my tracker app, headaches are super common because of hormonal surges in the first few weeks. The app always suggested tracking water intake because dehydration is the biggest trigger. Try logging your symptoms to see if there's a pattern!
Headaches are common but don't ignore them, especially if they are severe as it could mean high BP which leads to expensive ICU visits. Rather than spending on emergency doctor visits later, just mention it in your regular checkup. Keep your water bottle handy, it's the cheapest way to stay healthy!
Honestly, I am not a doctor so I can't give medical advice, but I also had bad headaches around week 12. For me, applying warm compress on my forehead and taking a small nap in a quiet room worked wonders. Please talk to your doctor if it becomes too painful.
