Are home pregnancy tests more accurate than doctors?

I got a faint positive at home and now im wondering if i should just trust the kit or go straight for a blood test. Bit confused which one to believe more. Anyone compared both?

Home kits are quite accurate when used correctly and after the missed period, but the lab blood test is more sensitive and confirms it earlier. So no, the doctor's blood test is the more reliable one. Home tests are great for a first check though.

Home tests are good for a quick answer at home, but I always followed up with my gynac to confirm. The blood test gives the exact hCG levels. Both have their place honestly.

Honestly I did the home kit first since its cheap, then went for the lab test to confirm. No point doing the costly test repeatedly. The kit saves money for the initial check.
