Some days i have zero energy to cook and these packet soups are so easy. But im not sure about all the stuff inside them during pregnancy. Is it okay to have once in a while or better to avoid yaar?
Actually yaar, Knorr soups have too much sodium and preservatives, which isn't great during pregnancy. Having it once in a while is okay when you are super lazy, but don't make it a regular thing. Making a simple fresh soup at home is way better, honestly.
According to my pregnancy tracker, processed foods with high sodium and MSG should be limited. Knorr soups are quick but they don't have much nutritional value. I used to make a quick homemade tomato soup and add fresh veggies to satisfy my cravings instead.
Hey, don't stress too much if you had it once or twice, it's totally fine! But try not to eat it regularly because packaged soups have lots of salt and chemicals. If you are craving soup, maybe ask someone to make a quick fresh veggie soup at home instead.
I would suggest avoiding packaged soups like Knorr because they are very high in sodium and preservatives. Since I had gestational diabetes, I had to be extremely careful with processed foods as they can spike blood sugar levels. It's much safer to have fresh, home-cooked vegetable soup instead.
Packaged soups like Knorr are highly processed and packed with sodium and artificial flavors, so they are not a healthy choice during pregnancy. Skip the packets and stick to freshly made soups. It hardly takes 15 minutes to boil and blend some fresh veggies.
I just delivered my baby last month and honestly, during my pregnancy, I had major cravings for instant soup! I had Knorr soup a couple of times when I was too tired to cook. But try not to make it a daily habit because fresh ghar ka soup is much better for you and the baby.
When I was staying at my parents' house, my mother would never let me touch packet soups because of the preservatives. She used to make fresh, warm tomato or beetroot soup at home with lots of love. It felt so much healthier and tasted amazing too.
Oh god, I actually drank one packet of instant soup early in my pregnancy and then panicked for three days straight thinking about the preservatives! Honestly, don't worry if you already had it, but try to avoid it going forward. Freshly made ghar ka soup is much safer and will give you peace of mind.
