Are montelukast and fexodenadine safe during pregnancy?
I have dust allergy and was taking these regularly before pregnancy. Now im 9 weeks and not sure if i should keep taking them or not. Want to ask my doc about it but curious if any of you continued allergy meds during pregnancy.
Honestly I wouldnt take any of these on my own during pregnancy. When I had allergy issues my gynac switched me to something she felt was safer for me. Please dont self decide on these, ask your own doctor with your reports.
These are prescription meds so the safe answer is, only if your doctor says so for your case. Some allergy meds are used in pregnancy under supervision but it really depends on you and your trimester. Dont continue them without checking, please.
Dont take these on your own yaar. Allergy meds during pregnancy should be cleared by your gynac, some are okay and some they avoid. Call your doctor, tell them what you usually take, they will adjust it for you.
I had asthma during pregnancy and my pulmonologist and gynac decided together what I could continue. So please dont go by what others took, talk to your doctor. Uncontrolled allergy or breathing trouble is also not good, so get proper guidance.
