Mom keeps giving me a small bowl of pista every morning saying its good for the baby. I do like them but just wanted to check if too many is fine. Im in my second trimester.
Yes they are good, full of protein and iron. I used to keep a small katori of mixed nuts including pista as my evening snack. Just dont eat a whole packet, they are heavy.
Pista is fine and actually nuts are good cause they dont spike sugar much. I had GD so I stuck to a handful, unsalted ones. The salted ones gave me more swelling.
Haan dry fruits are very good in pregnancy, we always soaked badam and pista overnight. Soaked ones are easier to digest. But thoda hi khana, in moderation.
