Are pregnancy tests accurate before missed period?

Im so impatient and tempted to test even though my period is still 3-4 days away. Dont want to get a wrong result and get my hopes up or down for nothing. Do these tests really show correctly before the date?

They can work a few days before but accuracy is lower because hcg is still low. My doc said testing on or after the missed period gives the most reliable result. If you test early and its negative, repeat after a couple days.

Some early detection kits claim 5-6 days before, but the faint line can confuse you. I tracked my date on an app and tested on the due day for clarity. Morning urine gives the best read.

I tested 3 days before my period in panic and got a negative, then positive after my date. So early negatives can fool u. Try to wait, i know its so hard yaar.
