I soak few kishmish at night and eat in morning, mostly for constipation and sweet craving. Now I am wondering if daily raisins are okay in pregnancy. Anyone having them?
Yes raisins are healthy, good for iron and energy. I used to soak them at night and have them with breakfast. Just keep the quantity small since they are sugary, especially if your sugar is being watched.
Raisins are nutritious but they are quite sugary, so i had to be careful with them due to my sugar. If your levels are normal a few are fine. If you have diabetes, check the amount with your dietician first.
My mother in law gave me soaked raisins and almonds together every morning, she swears by it. They do help with iron and energy. Just a small handful is plenty, no need to overdo dear.
Beta raisins are good, they have iron and help a little with constipation too. We always kept kishmish at home. Soak a few overnight and eat in the morning, but dont eat handfuls, thoda hi enough hai.
