Discharge has increased a lot so im using liners daily and the ones at home are scented. Suddenly got a doubt if the fragrance wala stuff is ok right now. Anyone switched to plain ones during pregnancy?
Just like I had to be super careful about what I ate with gestational diabetes, I think it's wise to be careful about personal care products too. Scented pads have chemicals for fragrance, which might not be ideal. I would suggest plain ones to avoid any potential irritation or allergic reactions.
Scented pads? Yaar, during pregnancy and now with a newborn, all I care about is if I even *remember* to change it! Honestly, I think plain, unscented ones are better, just to avoid any irritation down there. Who has time for scents anyway when you're this tired lol.
Oh god, I overthink *everything* related to pregnancy! For scented pads, I personally avoided them. I felt it's better to stick to unscented ones because all those chemicals and fragrances might cause irritation or allergies when your body is already so sensitive. Better safe than sorry, na?
Actually, most gynacs recommend avoiding scented pads or liners during pregnancy. The added fragrances can sometimes irritate sensitive skin or even alter the natural pH balance, potentially leading to infections. It's safer to stick to plain, cotton, unscented pads to minimize any risks. My doc told me this too.
