I work on my phone a lot and my MIL keeps telling me the radiation is harmful for the baby. Honestly i dont know if its an old wives tale or theres some truth to it. Anyone actually looked into this?
I practically lived on my phone using pregnancy tracker apps the whole nine months and baby is perfectly fine. The bigger thing is the screen time messing your sleep and posture. Keep phone away an hour before bed, that helped me rest better.
I used to worry about this too and kept the phone away from my tummy just for my own peace, even if there's no real proof. If it makes you feel calmer do it, but dont stress that you've harmed anything, you havent.
If phones were harmful half of us pregnant ladies scrolling at 3am with insomnia would be in trouble haha. Use it normally yaar, just maybe not 6 hours straight, your neck will thank you more than the baby.
There's no solid proof that normal phone use harms the baby. I asked my gynac the same thing because I work on screen all day, she said it's fine, just dont sleep with the phone on your belly and take breaks for your eyes and neck. Common sense stuff really.
