This heat is making me crave a cold cola so badly. I know its not exactly healthy but is an occasional glass ok or completely no during pregnancy? trying to be careful, im 11 weeks.
Occasional and small is okay, but soft drinks have caffeine and a lot of sugar so they're best limited. I switched mostly to nimbu pani, coconut water and chaas. If you have gestational diabetes definitely avoid and ask your doctor.
With my GD I had to cut sugary drinks completely, they spike sugar fast. If your levels are normal an odd glass is fine, but honestly there are healthier cold drinks. Please be careful with the sugar.
Yaar one cold drink once in a while wont ruin anything, dont stress. Just dont make it a daily thing. I leaned on coconut water and it was so much more refreshing anyway.
