I have a throat infection and normally i would just take whatever i have at home, but now im 12 weeks and scared to take anything on my own. Planning to ask my gynac before taking. just wanted to know generally are some safe? not asking for any names.
I needed antibiotics for a UTI in pregnancy and my gynac picked a safe one for me. They do exist, but only the doctor should choose it. Never self prescribe, that's the one thing I would stress.
Yes there are antibiotics considered safe in pregnancy and doctors prescribe them when really needed, like for infections. But which one and the dose is fully the doctor's decision. Please never take any antibiotic on ur own, always get a prescription.
