Got a really bad sore throat since two days, 16 weeks pregnant. Was about to pop a strepsil out of habit but then stopped, not sure if its safe now. Planning to call my gynac but wanted to know if anyone used these.
I wouldnt take any lozenge without asking, even simple ones. When I had a sore throat my gynac told me what was safe for me. Please just message ur doctor before taking strepsils, takes 2 mins and ur sure.
Dawai wali cheez hai na, isliye doctor se pooch lo pehle. Mujhe throat pain pe doc ne gargle aur garam paani bola tha. Strepsils khud se mat lo, ek baar confirm kar lo.
I cant really advise on medicines, every pregnancy differs. I'll just say when I had throat pain I asked my doctor first and she guided me. Best to do the same for strepsils, dont take it on ur own na.
For a sore throat I mostly did warm salt water gargle and haldi milk, worked well without any medicine. For strepsils specifically pls check with ur gynac, dont go by what worked for me. Throat stuff usually settles with home care.
