There is a family wedding and cousins want to apply temporary tattoo stickers for fun. I am 20 weeks and not sure about the glue or chemicals. Did anyone use them while pregnant?
The plain henna mehendi type is generally considered fine, but the black 'kala mehendi' that has chemicals can irritate skin and is best avoided. For the sticker or ink ones, I'd skip anything that goes on broken skin. If unsure, a quick word with your doctor helps.
Actually normal mehendi is totally fine yaar, did it in both my pregnancies. Bas woh black wali chemical mehendi se door raho, woh skin pe react karti hai. Patch test kar lena agar koi naya sticker tattoo try kar rahi ho.
Natural henna is okay, most of us did mehendi during pregnancy without issue. Just stay away from that black chemical mehendi, it can cause rashes. If your skin reacts or burns at all, wash it off and check with doctor.
Regular henna, no problem, I did it both pregnancies. The temporary chemical tattoos and black mehendi I'd avoid because of skin reactions. Do a small patch test first if you really want one. Nothing on irritated skin.
