I missed my period and have some symptoms, but my husband says wait and see. I feel better if I confirm properly before telling family. Do we really need to test or can symptoms be enough?
Definitely important. My doctor explained each test, the blood and urine ones check for anemia, infections, thyroid, sugar, and scans check baby development. Catching things early keeps both mom and baby safe.
Yes very. The tests confirm pregnancy and then the regular ones track baby growth, your sugar, BP, hemoglobin and so on. Skipping them means problems get missed. Do all the tests your gynac asks, theyre there for a reason.
Yes beta they really are, they keep an eye on you and baby both. Dont skip them even if you feel perfectly fine, thats actually the point of them. Just go as your doctor schedules.
Yes, the routine tests in pregnancy are an important part of safe care. They are not done randomly, each one has a purpose. Follow the schedule your gynac gives you and clear doubts with her if any test confuses you.
They matter a lot, I know tests add up cost wise. What I did was ask my gynac which are the essential ones and plan the budget for those. Some can be done at cheaper labs with same accuracy, just ask which are must-do.
