I have a few body shop body butters that i use daily and now im second guessing everything with ingredients. Anyone here continued using their products through pregnancy? Just want to be sure before i slap it on.
For body wash and lotion it should be ok, but anything you are unsure of, just ask your gynac quickly. I always confirmed before trying new skincare. Better safe.
I used an ingredient checker app for all my creams during pregnancy, super useful. Body Shop body butters were mostly fine for me, just avoided anything with retinoids and salicylic acid. Worth scanning the label first.
Most regular body lotions are fine, but check the ingredient list for retinol or strong actives which are usually avoided in pregnancy. I just stuck to plain moisturisers. If a product has actives, show it to your doc or skin doctor.
