My due date has passed by few days and baby still not coming, im getting thoda anxious now. Doc said wait kar lo abhi but i keep wondering, can delivery actually happen after the full 9 months? Has it happened with anyone here?
Practically speaking, the 40-week mark is just an estimate. I worked till my 39th week and my baby came at 40 weeks + 3 days, which is technically after 9 months. Totally fine as long as doctor says baby is safe.
Hey, don't stress too much about the calendar. Babies have their own sweet time and going slightly past 9 months is super normal, just trust your gynac.
Actually normal delivery or labor pain thoda late bhi start ho sakta hai, yaar. Many babies are born in the 10th month, basically 41 weeks tak waiting is normal.
I felt so anxious when my 9th month completed and nothing happened. But then doctor monitored the baby and we waited, and I delivered a healthy baby at 40 weeks and 5 days.
I remember crying thinking why my baby isn't out yet at 9 months! But my little angel came safely at 41 weeks, it is completely normal to cross 9 months.
