Are there chances of white discharge in pregnancy?
Noticed more white discharge than usual since this week and im 9 weeks along. Its not itchy or smelly but still made me a little worried. Is this normal in pregnancy ya should I mention it to gynac?
Welcome to the glamorous world of pregnancy, where panty liners become your new best friend! As long as it looks like milk and doesn't smell like bad cheese, you are perfectly fine. It's just hormones doing their wild dance.
For me, the white discharge started very early in my first trimester and lasted till delivery. I just made sure to change my underwear twice a day to stay comfortable. I never had any itching, so I just let it be.
Yes, white discharge is very common and normal, so don't run to the clinic for every small thing and waste money. But if it changes color or smells bad, get a basic urine test done to check for infections. It's cheap and prevents bigger complications later.
I have been reading up on this because we are planning soon. Is it true that the discharge increases a lot right before you get a positive test? It's so interesting how our bodies change.
Yes, increased leukorrhea is standard during pregnancy due to high estrogen. Just maintain proper hygiene, use cotton panties, and avoid any scented washes. If it gets itchy or green, call your gynac.
Oh yes, it's totally normal! I noticed it more when my cravings for spicy golgappas kicked in, haha. Just wear comfortable cotton underwear and don't worry, it's just your body's way of keeping things clean.
