I got a faint positive on a home test this morning and now im sitting here doubting it completely. How reliable are these urine kits actually? part of me wants to run to the lab already, anyone trust them fully?
They are quite accurate if you test after your missed period with first morning urine. Testing too early is what gives wrong results. Both my pregnancies showed up correctly on a home test.
Mine was accurate but I did it twice just to be sure because I was so anxious. Both times positive thankfully. Did anyone else repeat the test out of nervousness, or was it just me?
My doc said home urine tests are around 97-99 percent accurate when used correctly and at the right time. False negatives happen mostly from testing too early or dilute urine. For full confirmation she does a blood test and scan anyway.
