Been getting that burning feeling while peeing and also my period is delayed. Now im wondering if a uti can actually be an early sign or if these two are unrelated. Anyone experienced both together?
Frequent urination can happen early in pregnancy ma, but actual UTI with burning is different. My amma used to say drink lots of water, which helps, but if there is burning or fever pls do a urine test with ur doctor.
I had a UTI in my second trimester and ignored it thinking its minor, big mistake, it got worse. So if u have burning or back pain pls dont wait, show ur gynac. UTI itself is not how u know ur pregnant though, that needs a test.
Honestly easiest way is just take a home pregnancy test if u suspect pregnancy. UTI and pregnancy are two separate things. If u have burning while peeing, thats infection, needs treatment regardless.
I was confused about this too. I kept feeling like I had to pee all the time in early weeks and thought it was UTI but doc said its just normal pregnancy thing. Did anyone else mix up the two?
Not really a sign of pregnancy yaar. UTI is just infection, anyone can get it pregnant or not. But haan, in pregnancy women do get UTIs more easily because of all the changes. So dont read it as a symptom, just get a urine test if u feel burning.
