Tested positive on home kit just yesterday and im so impatient yaar. My last period date says im around 4 weeks. Should i even go for scan now or it wont show anything? anyone got their scan this early?
I went for a scan very early and they couldnt see much, I panicked thinking something was wrong. Doctor calmly said it is just too soon and to come back in two weeks, and then everything showed up perfectly. Early empty looking scans are often just timing.
At 4 weeks it is usually too early to see much, my doctor said sometimes only a tiny sac and even that may not show clearly. They often ask you to come back around 6 to 7 weeks to see the sac and heartbeat. So dont worry if nothing is visible that early.
In my IVF journey the early scans were nerve wracking because so little shows at 4 weeks. My clinic always waited a couple of weeks for a clearer picture. Try to be patient with the timing, and lean on your doctor for reassurance.
