Can a blood test detect pregnancy 1 week after conception?

My husband and I are trying to conceive, and I think I might have conceived about a week ago. I'm very eager to know, can a blood test already detect pregnancy that early, just one week after conception?

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and I actually tried testing very early too because I was so impatient! My doctor said a blood test can sometimes detect it around 8-10 days after ovulation, but 1 week might be slightly too early even for blood. Did u track your exact ovulation day?
