We are trying and im too impatient to wait, its only been about 2 weeks since. Im wondering if a blood test would show anything this early or is it too soon. Anyone got a positive blood report this early?
Generally yes, the blood test is sensitive enough to detect early. But timing matters, too soon can give a low or unclear result. Best to ask your gynac for the right day to test.
Blood test catches it earlier than the home kit, yes. But 2 weeks counting can be confusing because doctors count from last period. If you mean 2 weeks after intercourse, a beta hCG can often detect by then.
My doctor explained the blood test (beta hCG) is more sensitive than urine strips and can pick up pregnancy quite early, sometimes around 10-12 days after conception. So roughly 2 weeks can show, depends on when implantation happened. She said blood is the most reliable early check.
In my IVF journey the blood beta test was done around 12-14 days and it showed clearly. It really is the earliest accurate way. Whatever your result, take it gently and follow up with your doctor for the next steps.
