I had a CT done for something else recently and only later realised i might be around 4 weeks. Ab thoda panic ho raha hai matlab kya yeh scan pe pata chal jaata? Will def ask my doc but wanted to know.
CT scans are definitely not recommended for detecting pregnancy due to radiation exposure. A beta-hCG blood test is extremely accurate at 4 weeks and completely safe.
When I was 4 weeks pregnant, I felt so protective of my tiny baby. Please don't get a CT scan as the radiation can be harmful; a normal blood test is all you need to be sure.
Looking back at my early pregnancy days, I remember a simple urine strip test was enough at 4 weeks. Don't worry about big scans like CT right now, just visit your doctor for a safe blood test.
Oh, please avoid CT scans! I got so anxious about any scan in my first trimester. Isn't a regular urine test or blood test much safer at 4 weeks? What did your doctor say?
A CT scan isn't used to detect pregnancy because of radiation risks, especially at 4 weeks. A simple blood HCG test or an ultrasound is the safest way, so please consult your doctor immediately.
In our family, elders always say to stay away from strong machines when expecting. A CT scan has radiation, so please do a simple blood test instead and let your doctor guide you.
