I think Im around 3 weeks only and im super impatient haha. If I go to the gynac this early, can she even confirm it or too soon? Dont want to waste a visit if its useless.
When I went to my hospital early on, the coordinator explained that scans are scheduled after 6 weeks. For 3 weeks, you should just ask the clinic to do a blood hCG test.
A gynac can't see anything on an ultrasound at 3 weeks because the sac is too tiny. But if you take a blood test, they can confirm the pregnancy instantly.
According to my tracker app, 3 weeks is super early. While an ultrasound won't work, your gynac can order a Beta hCG blood test which is highly accurate at this stage.
At 3 weeks, even my cravings hadn't properly started, haha! A normal ultrasound won't show anything so early, but a blood test can definitely confirm it.
Oh man, at 3 weeks I didn't even know I was pregnant! Don't rush for a scan yet, your gynac will most likely ask you to wait a couple of weeks or just do a blood test.
